Design Professional Profile Materials Requirements
Listed below are the information and materials you will need to include in the online submission form.
- Contact information, including name, business name, address, phone, fax, and email address. A tax identification number is also required for submission, but will not be displayed with your profile.
- Professional Affiliations. You will be asked to list your professional design affiliations (such as IIDA, AIA, NKBA, etc.).
- Areas of design specialty. You will be asked to select any number of the following design areas. This will allow consumers different ways to search for your profile. The areas of design specialty are:
- Statement of design philosophy (25 word limit).
- Biography (250 word limit).
- Three images of your best residential design work. Keep in mind that simple scenes with contrasting backgrounds work best on the Web. Our digital image requirements are:
- jpg or gif files
- a minimum resolution of 100 dpi
- 102 x 150 pixels or 1"x 1 1/2" image size for portrait
- 200 x 200 pixels or 2" x 2" image size for interior shots
- Maximum file size of 50K
- Mac or PC format acceptable
- Headshot/photograph representing you and/or your business. Your photograph will be featured at 125 x 150 pixels or approximately 1 1/4" x 1 1/2". Same requirements as above.
- Credit card payment. HomePortfolio uses a secure server.
- Standard rate: $295.00 per year
- Option for discounted two-year membership
